DPD seeks increased budget, cites protests among long list of expenses
Denver's Department of Safety today asked the City Council for an additional $7 million from the city's contingency fund for its 2011 budget due to higher than expected costs this year, including increased overtime costs because of the Occupy Denver protests.<div class="feedflare">
